ELECTION
Additional candidates for the offices to be filled may be placed in nomination by petition signed by at least 20 percent of the REALTOR® members eligible to vote, per the SOBR Governing Documents.
The petition shall be filed with the Chief Executive Officer at least two (2) weeks before the election. There are currently 223 members (primary and secondary members) eligible to vote. Therefore, at least 45 eligible SOBR member signatures are required to secure an additional name to the ballot. The last day to turn in a petition is Sept. 19.
The election will close on Oct. 3 during the General Membership Luncheon.
