Ardmore, Okla. (April 6, 2023) – The Southern Oklahoma Board of REALTORS® received two awards from the Oklahoma REALTOR® Party.
The SOBR members were honored on stage at the Oklahoma Association of REALTORS® 2023 Capitol Conference in Oklahoma City on March 29.
The association received awards for the exceeding the 2022 REALTOR® Political Action Committee Fundraising Goal and exceeding the 2022 REALTO
R® Political Action Committee Major Investor Goal.
The awards were received by 2023 SOBR president, Todd Yeager, and SOBR association executive, Laci Jones.
“We are excited and honored to receive these two prestigious awards from OAR’s Capitol Conference,” said Todd Yeager, 2023 SOBR president. “Our primary focus is being the voice of real estate in our jurisdiction and advocating for property rights.”
During the conference, SOBR members met with legislators at the Oklahoma Capitol to advocate for industry priorities including creating a process to voluntarily remove restrictive covenants, bringing transparency to homeowners associations, and updating Oklahoma real estate license statutes.
